ASA is excited to announce its first visual art show (virtual—due to COVID).
Adventist Society for the Arts (ASA) provides a venue for Seventh-day Adventist church members who have an interest in art in its many forms–architecture, calligraphy, digital graphics, drama, drawing, film, painting, photography, songwriting, street art, sculpture and more–to network, collaborate and produce art that speaks to today’s culture and world.
The philosophy behind having such an organization within the Seventh-day Adventist Church is linked with the purpose and mission of the church—to share God’s love with a fractured world.
The mission of ASA is to create art that brings good to life, promotes justice and truth, and points others to the God we love.

* How to Resize You Images: Whether you use a PC or a Mac, there is built-in software you can use for this.
There’s also a free online tool, picresize.com, that lets you crop, rotate, and resize your images online. Use “custom size” in step 2 to choose the number of pixels — again, change only the width or the height, not both, to keep from distorting the image. At the bottom of the page, choose JPG from the Save As menu. This website also has a batch resize tool to resize many images at once.
Paintings and other visual art works need to be photographed. Give us your best photograph of the work(s) you have created. When you photograph pay attention to the lighting. Here are some tips for taking pictures of your works.© 2017 - 2021 ASA. All rights reserved. Click here for content usage information.
