Michelle says, “We have learned so much through these last two years from other creatives and hope to impart that wisdom through each of our podcast episodes. God has created us to create and kindle love in the hearts of others, and it is up to us to take on that challenge and see what good we can do as Christians.”

Unbound – Short Film
In December of 2021, I had the privilege of filming Behind The Scenes footage of Unbound, a short film about the first mother in space (based on the true story of Dr. Anna Fisher) and directed by Emmy Award Winner, Sarah Moshman (Dancing with the Stars, Losing Sight of Shore, Nevertheless) and starring Lauren Lapkus (Jurassic World, Orange Is The New Black, Crashing).
It was such an amazing opportunity to work with talented females in the film industry who are pushing for stories of strong female characters who have defied the odds and stereotypes and have gone above and beyond. The film was fully funded, reaching more than $50,000 through donations, proving that people want to see these kinds of stories told through the art of filmmaking. I am proud to say that I got to be a part of such a wonderful production with amazing professionals. I hope to continue creating films starring strong female leads in my own films and help raise the quieted voices of females all over the world.
Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival
In December of 2021, I was informed that my feature film, Illusory, had won the Best Feature Film award from the Lift-Off Global Network First-Time Filmmaker Festival. “The Lift-Off Global Network is an organization encompassing worldwide live screening events, distribution initiatives, a seasonal awards ceremony, and an ever growing and active Network of indie film creators.”
Because of this win, my film will be included in the annual in-person screening at Pinewood Studios in the UK in August and I will participate in various workshops with industry professionals who will mentor me and the other filmmakers who have won in other categories from the same festival. Pinewood Studios is famous for films like 007: No Time To Die, Jurassic World, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. To have my work shown in such a historic place like this means the world to me. It has definitely given me more confidence in knowing that I am in the right field of work and must continue pushing towards my ultimate career goals.
