Fretboard Journal: Tommy Emmanuel and John Knowles

Fretboard Journal FJ is a delightful magazine and podcast that features interviews with guitarist, songwriters, guitar luthiers, etc. FJ also has its own Youtube channel with interviews of artists and guitar builders. This video features Tommy Emmanuel and John Knowles, two recipients of Chet Atkins’ CGP (Certified Guitar Player) award. The artists talk about their guitars (a Maton for Tommy Emmanuel, a Kirk Sand-built instrument for John Knowles), how they arrange for guitar duos, Chet Atkins and more.  This show originally aired on February 19, 2015.
